Two DVDs of episodes of The Young Doctors, also including special features, have been released. These are Romance and Heartbreak and Classic Cliffhangers.

Other memorabilia was released at the time of the soap's screening. This includes two novelisations, based on scripts from the show, magazines and cast autobiographies.

Based on the TV series and written by Carl Ruhen, this novel was was published by Star Books in 1987. It features storylines from the early episodes of the show, featuring favourites such as Dr Denham, Laura Denham, Grace Scott, Edna Curtis, Craig Rothwell and Jim Howard.

The Young Doctors: 1000th episode magazine

This magazine was published by Modern Magazines Holdings in 1981. It was released to coincide with the 1000th episode of the soap and is full of interviews, articles and pictures from the history of the show. Sadly, it was shortly after this celebration that The Young Doctors was axed, making this magazine all the more a collector's item.
